Empowering Corporate Fundraisers through Social Value and Social Impact Insights.

At this webinar Hannah will share her learnings and provide her top five tips on how to use social value as a way to further develop partnerships with your current business partners, and to open doors to new businesses. She will provide guidance on aligning your initiatives with the values and goals of your prospective business partners, helping you to forge impactful partnerships and maximising your fundraising outcomes.

Hannah Wright

Hannah became a fundraiser in 2012, since then has worked in both the third sector and private sector, working in conservation and youth organisations, as a Business Development Manager for a firm of solicitors and as Social Impact Manager for an online retailer; she is a natural choice to lead a webinar for corporate fundraisers on social value and social impact – Why I hear you ask!

Her experience and knowledge mean she has a unique perspective regarding corporate partnerships, through both her understanding of social value from the perspective of a fast growing, innovative business and her practical experience of understanding the needs and desires of the charity side of the partnership.

Social value as a concept has been growing fast in the private sector, especially since the Social Value Act was ‘beefed up’ in 2021, if you don’t know anything about social value, now is the time to start your learning.

Hannah’s knowledge is ahead of most fundraisers due to her tenure as Social Impact Manager for The Hut Group (THG).  Through being part of a cohort of Social Impact Managers in the North West she knows the models many businesses are favouring, and how these will impact their future charity partnerships.

Paula Senior

Paula has worked in Fundraising for the last 7 years within the homeless sector, and previously as a volunteer for Home Start. She is passionate about changing lives for the better and believes everyone deserves a safe place to call home and access to vital support services.

Paula & YMCA Burton were proud to be the chosen Charity for Tilley’s first outdoor art trail, and enjoyed working with her and the businesses who sponsored the Burton Swans. It was a particularly challenging year of launch as COVID hit and subsequent lockdowns added risk to the success of the trail. Tilley continues to be a great supporter of YMCA Burton and they have recommended Tilley to a number of other Charities following the success of the trail.
